Emma McCaskill joins ‘The Bandit Chef Series’

This December, acclaimed chef Emma McCaskill will be taking the reins in Anchovy Bandit’s kitchen as part of their chef dinner series.

After a sold out night for The Bandits Chef Series with Tom Tilbury, Anchovy Bandit are excited to announce they have Emma McCaskill joining The Bandit Chef Series on Sunday the 5th of December.

The Bandit Chef Series is a collaboration with chefs who will be joining Anchovy Bandit’s Executive Chef Shane Wilson in the kitchen for one night only. Each chef will take the reins in the kitchen, infusing their own style to create twists on Italian classics.

The idea behind the series is to give the Prospect community a new experience, blending different cultures and developing exciting dishes full of new flavours. Something fresh for everyone to try.

“Anchovy Bandits menu is unmistakably Italian, but Shane draws influence from cuisines all over the world to create his dishes. We wanted to celebrate this, and there’s no better way to run with this than to work with chefs bringing their experience from other cuisines.” Says Co-owner Alex Benett.

Emma McCaskill is a leading Australian chef with a very impressive resume including Penfolds Magill Estate, Narisawa Tokyo and Sat Bains Nottingham just to name a few. Emma’s food philosophy celebrates cooking in Australia while drawing on her Indian family heritage and extensive experience working throughout Asia and Europe.

On Sunday 5th of December, Emma will be bringing this influence to the Anchovy Bandit Menu to create an exciting menu.

“Emma will take the lead on the night, infusing her style into the rolling set menu, and I’ll be here to help make it fit the “Bandit” vibe.” Says Exec Chef Shane Wilson.
