It’s been too darn hot in Adelaide recently. For humans and horses.
The team at Carriage of Occasion have swapped their usual horse-riding business to beach rides, so that their horses can have a swim and a cool off.
And that means that you can too. There’s an exclusive opportunity for you to horse-ride through the water at Silver Sands this weekend.
You get a full 30 minutes with a horse, where you can be lead along the beach, play in the shallows, and ride the horse bareback through the water.
Business owner Shaye Williams told Glam Adelaide that people are loving the experience.
“It’s just beautiful down there on the beach, and people that that don’t have access to horses regularly are particularly loving it. It’s getting booked up though!”
Haven’t ridden a horse before? Don’t worry. You will have a handler with you at all times. And it’s a requirement that you wear a helmet and life jacket.
And the best bit is that a photographer will be in attendance to capture your session.
Sessions are weather dependent, and will be held at the following times during summer with times available this Monday!
- 7-7:30 am
- 7:45- 8:15 am
- 8:30-9 am
Available sessions are released at short notice due to the weather, and are only available by messaging the Carriage of Occasion Facebook page. Alternatively you can buy a voucher, to ensure you donāt miss out for this summer.
