For nearly 23 years, Fresh 92.7 has been the first step in the careers of some of the brightest and most talented South Australians in the country. Ben and Liam, Lehmo, Sam Mac; Countless announcers, reporters and producers working across Australia – all got their start in the Fresh studios.
It’s with great pride, and a tinge of sadness, that Fresh 92.7 announces the departure of its Breakfast hosts: Mark Thomas and Laura O’Callaghan, known to listeners as ‘Loz and Thomo.’
Loz & Thomo have hosted Brekky on Fresh 92.7 for over three years, making them our longest fulltime Breakfast show with over 700 shows broadcast.
The hilarious, engaging duo have accomplished some significant feats over that time. They’ve jumped into freezing cold water for charity, sent a lucky listener to Denmark, and supported South Australia’s small business community through the Give A Little Love and Get Behind A Business initiatives.
Importantly, Loz & Thomo fearlessly continued broadcasting through the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. At a time where we could not physically see one another, Brekky with Loz Thomo provided a space for South Australians to laugh, connect, and stay informed.
The unique, anything-goes dynamic of the show has proven a hit with listeners, propelling Fresh 92.7 to its highest Breakfast listenership yet.
“Hosting this Brekky show has been a truly incredible experience,” Loz said of her departure. “It’s been so much fun, and we’ve loved every moment we’ve shared with the listeners. You’ve played our games with us, you’ve told us some amazing stories on-air, and you’ve followed us down some
deeply strange tangents.”
“This was our first proper radio gig, and I’m sure it will go down as one of the greatest jobs we’ve ever had,” Thomo said of his time hosting Brekky.
“It’s been an absolute ball, but the time has finally come for us to move onto a new opportunity.”

Brekky with Loz & Thomo will broadcast their last show on March 26. Their last two weeks are set to be amongst their most memorable, with some incredible content planned, including the giveaway of $500 cash as part of a brand new promotion, The Real Estate Debate with Matt Thomas from Money Quest.
