This week Cancun Cowboys opened its doors, and for anyone who loves Mexican American food, it looks like it’s going to be a must-visit.
For starters, their menu features nachos, tacos, fajitas, burritos, burgers, macaroni & cheese (three different types!), sloppy joes, ribs and more. So your staples are covered.
Then there’s the more exotic stuff.
Like their Golden Grasshopper Taco. If you’re brave enough to give it a crack, you’ll be enjoying chilli & salt dried grasshopper & avocado taco, served with a shot of tequila for only $10.90.

The rest of the taco & volcano (yes we’re curious about that too) section on the menu boasts flavours like pumpkin berry, Barossa Valley poke, free range fried & crumbed chicken, California Baja fish, or finally the brown sugar & spice beef.
Then there’s 4 different types of nachos available including the Orange Habanero Duck, which has slow cooked duck in habanero chilli sauce, queso fundido cheese, spicy tomatillo & pico de gallo & sour crema. Hungry yet? So are we.
The kids menu is pretty decent (my kids would love it), and then there’s the drinks menu. With Margaritas, daily slushies, buckets, Coyote Cocteles, Peyote Punch, plus a beer and wine menu, you won’t be short of options.
So if you’re after somewhere new to try, Cancun Cowboys looks like the perfect place to spice up your life.
