The Highway are giving you the chance to take home an ultimate cash prize of $2000, and literally all you have to do is show up, and well…dance!
On 13 June, the popular Anzac Highway venue is throwing an epic iPod Shuffle party, and the entire nights playlist is curated entirely by you (and the other guests coming along).
When purchasing a ticket, you’ll be prompted to select a song. Your favourite song, a song that makes you cringe, a timeless banger – honestly the choice is entirely yours. On the night, the resident Highway DJ will be hitting shuffle on the decks and playing all your hits well into the night.
Here’s the thing though, as the night goes on, the suspense is sure to build. Why you ask? Because the last song of the iPod Shuffle party played at midnight, will win the person who chose it a massive $2000 – worth sticking around for, right?
As if it doesn’t get any better than that, there’s a bunch of other prizes throughout the night including a free drink for the chooser of the first song played, a $50 HWY voucher for the 50th song chooser, and an $80 HWY voucher for the 80th.
You just can’t lose at this epic party, because there’s nothing quite like hearing your song come on when you’re in the bathroom with the girls, and having to rush out on to the dance floor abruptly *cough* Ariana Grande’s – Into You.
Tickets to the night of nights are set at $20, and not only get you entry, but also a Smirnoff (win!).
The iPod Shuffle party is just one in a string of events hosted by The Highway, including their Darkageddon dark themed party, which features a bunch of local craft brews and bubbles, and even some boozy donut creations from Adelaide favourites Kytons and Port Elliott bakeries.
Warm up your vocal cords folks, because this night gonna have you belting ballads and rapping hits for hours on end.
