Oakbank’s Karkoo Nursery has proven to be much more than your regular garden centre with the nursery presenting its visitors offerings beyond just plants.
Earlier this year, the venue released their selection of delicious platters that compliment their already established food menu of light snacks, sweets, cakes and coffee.
Now, the Oakbank nursery has announced it is officially fully licensed, with a range of beers, ciders, spirits, bubbles and wine on offer – so you can grab a plant and pinot in the same amazing location!
Open seven days a week, the green-thumb favourite has proven popular amongst locals and visitors to the area, with a number of classic and eye-catching pots, gifts, homewares and garden art. Not to mention an array of stunning indoor and outdoor plants.
Originally in Blackwood, Karkoo Nursery opened their second store in Oakbank this year, with the location seeing Karkoo planting its roots in the historic Johnston Brewery in the heart of the Adelaide Hills.
Their Oakbank nursery cafe includes a menu of platters that showcase the best of locally sourced produce, with vegan and gluten-free options all catered for.
Milkshakes, smoothies and soft drinks also adorn the menu, so you can enjoy a refreshment whilst you relax in their seated area that overlooks the vast and vibrant plants available to purchase.
So if you’re in the market for a bit more greenery (and let’s face it, who isn’t?!), then a trip to the Adelaide Hills to this gorgeous garden and cafe is well-worth the visit!
