Natural wine bar Leigh Street Wine Room has been recognised for Best of State Commercial Design in the Australian Interior Design Awards.
The awards celebrate excellence in interior design, and boast national and international significance.
Leigh Street Wine Room, helmed by hospital heavyweights Sali and Nathan Sasi, opened less than a year ago, and has quickly established itself as a well-respected destination for a drink and a bite to eat.
Once home to a dry-cleaner, the space pays homage to classic wine bars and was transformed by local architecture and interior design ’emporium’ studio-gram.
Incoming patrons are spoilt for choice with a wine wall featuring over 400 natural wines, and a menu comprised of both tasting plates and more substantial dishes.
