Plans have been unveiled for the redevelopment of the historic Eden Valley Hotel, with associated external decking, pergola structure and amenities addition.
Construction of a new alfresco dining area including new amenities, deck and verandahs, is a more than welcomed addition to the hotel.
‘Alfresco’ derives from an Italian word meaning “in the fresh air.” This development will introduce shaded outdoor dining. The alfresco dining area will be perfect for big gatherings and romantic dates.

The cornerstone of any good night out in Eden Valley is a trip to the Eden Valley Hotel. The hotel offers pub classics such as the venue’s hand-crumbed Schnitzel, as well as premium wines and beers from local producers.
The venue is an important fixture in the Barossa community, being the source of many great memories with family and friends as well as highlighting local producers from Eden Valley, Barossa, Adelaide Hills and the wider South Australia region.
Since 1866, the authentic local, country pub has been proudly serving the Eden Valley area and beyond, with what they describe as genuine country hospitality with incredible food and drinks for those in the market for a relaxed ambience.
With such a long rich history, and immense importance for many locals, the redevelopment plans are exciting. The redevelopment will allow for many more years for the venue, allowing for more memories to be created for generations to come.
The new faces of the hotel Tanya & Sid King are continuing on the legacy of the owners prior as stated in a Facebook post. Describing themselves as custodians of the 150 year-old-story that will go on!
They plan to shine a light on something that is already quite perfect, unique and special, and the redevelopment is definitely going to facilitate this.
“We are so touched to be a part of the story, words seem clumsy to quantify what it means to us,” says the couple on Facebook.
The venue is an important staple in the community which will only strengthen with the planned redevelopments.
With even better facilities, the Eden Valley Hotel will flourish as a community hub for many years to come.
