The Adelaide Central Market now has market trolleys for hire to ease your shopping experience.
According to Franz Knoll, the owner of Barossa Fine Foods, the trolleys are free for two hours with ID and a refundable $20 deposit. Make sure to return them after that period for your refund!
The trolleys are just one feature of the Market’s brand-new Market Stall, a new customer desk and concierge service. In addition to offering hire trolleys, the Market Stall also allows customers to purchase market merchandise and gift cards, check in for events, and ask questions about traders and products.
The information and customer services stall, located at Stall R17 at the Southern End of the Market, just off Gouger Street, is a central location on the market floor.
The locally designed stall features a brand-new fit-out that reflects the heritage of the market, including red brick and timber countertops and industrial light fittings.
To shop ’til you drop at Adelaide Central Market, filling your cart with fresh produce, rich cheeses and bread, or vegan deli products (coming soon!), be sure to head to the Market Stall to hire your free trolley.
