Penny's Hill & Mr Riggs Cellar were the proud recipients of a Silver Medal at last week's 2010 South Australian Tourism Awards Gala Dinner, under the 'Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Boutique Breweries' category.
The submission for the Awards entailed the strenuous putting-together of a 32-page document regarding the cellars' involvement in tourism in South Australia, as well as a site visit by one of the judges.
Among them were a number of other Silver Medal Recipients including Banrock Station Wine & Wetlands Center, Knappstein Enterprise Winery & Brewery, Langmeil Winery, Peter Lehmann Wines Cellar Door and Richmond Grove.
