Paws & Claws Adoptions Inc are combining puppies and yoga into one dreamy evening to raise money for a good cause.
The small non-for-profit rescue centre is dedicated to finding forever homes for abandoned and surrendered cats and dogs, and are back with their much-loved yoga sessions to raise money for the animal’s continuing care.
With 300 animals currently in its care, the money raised from these yoga sessions will go toward covering vet bills and the upkeep of the rescue centre.
There will be two yoga sessions on Sunday 12 June where you can practice some mindful mediation and gentle stretching, whilst being surrounded by a bunch of adorable puppies that you can adopt.
It might be the perfect way to spend a Sunday evening.
The puppies you’ll get to hang out with on the day will be between eight to 10-weeks-old, and will be available for adoption once they reach 12-weeks-old. Questionnaires will be available to fill out on the day if you fall in love with a particular pup.
Each hour long session will be taken by yoga instructor Mila Kaivalya, starting at 4pm and 6pm. Both sessions are a perfect way to unwind and restore yourself for the rest of the week, while getting an added boost of dopamine from the pure cuteness.
To continue with the wholesome event, healthy snacks will be available to purchase so that you can nourish your body as well as your soul.
There will also be prizes up for grabs in a raffle, with top prizes including a Pandora bracelet and a William Morris fine china set.
You can also have your photo taken with your favourite puppy on the day, making it almost impossible not to fall in love and adopt one on the spot.
Tickets are $30 each and as places are limited, get in quick to secure a spot as this has been a popular event in previous years.
