Swing into spring this October, with Roxie’s and Chateau Apollo transforming into a wine lovers delight with their sixth instalment of Bright Moments.
Off the back of their successful May edition, Roxie’s leafy green courtyard and Apollo’s function space will once again turn into a wicked wine party, showcasing South Australia’s hottest wine labels across an afternoon.
The Bright Moments news is (literally) hot off the press, with Roxie’s announcement of the spring fling coming in the wake of the Grenfell Street bar recently catching on fire. But a little smoke and flames haven’t burnt Roxie’s spirit, with the bar re-building in time for their Friday after-work crowd.
For $20, guests can roam between venues as they taste the crisp and fresh drops from the likes of Alpha Box & Dice, Hither & Yon, and Tin Shed Wines while bumping elbows (in place of shaking hands) and chat with the artisan winemakers. Tickets will grant you access to Bright Moments and a tasting glass to explore upwards of 20 wine producers showcased at the springtime soiree.
The wines will be available by the glass, at cellar door price, across the three-hour spring soiree, letting guests enjoy an array of boutique drops on Sunday afternoon.
The new Roxie’s kitchen team will be firing up the wood oven, serving up cooked charcoal treats to Adelaide wine lovers, while Roxie’s resident DJ Zippy and guests bring their soulful tunes and mixes to the party.
Bright Moments marks the first event Roxie’s and the Chateau Apollo will host where standing and drinking is allowed throughout their venues, giving attendees a glimpse of the fun to come this summer.
Bright Moments kicks off at 12:30pm, with the wine time fun coming to a close at 3:30pm.
