RSPCA’s dollar matching campaign is happening TODAY

Happening nationwide, RSPCA’s Give to Get Them Home is a dollar-matching campaign where every dollar donated to RSPCA is doubled by the charity’s dollar-matching partners.

Companies and individuals with kind-hearts and generous spirits will tomorrow have a special opportunity to support more animals in need of second chances at life.

Happening nationwide, RSPCA’s Give to Get Them Home is a dollar-matching campaign where every dollar donated to RSPCA is doubled by the charity’s dollar-matching partners.

That means a $25 donation will turn into $50, $100 into $200 and so on. This money will go directly towards helping neglected, abandoned and abused animals.

Last financial year, RSPCA South Australia:

  • Cared for more than 8,300 animals
  • Rehomed more than 5,000 animals
  • Reunited nearly 1200 people with their missing pets
  • Investigated about 4000 cruelty reports
  • Attended almost 2000 animals ambulance callouts

RSPCA’s care of animals, including at times extensive veterinary care, is wholly reliant on donations from the South Australian community.

The organisation has suffered significant financial losses this year, due to impacts on several incomes streams from Covid-19 restrictions.

Dollar-matching partners onboard so far to support tomorrow’s event include, Peter Alexander, Pet Barn Foundation, Pyramid Organics, and several individual major donors, including local author Fiona McCallum.

Donations during the 24 hour campaign on Thursday 1 Oct can be made via www.charidy.com/rspcasa20 or via telephone on 1300 777 221.
