SA Health has updated advice for a COVID-19 exposure location in Waikerie. The Tier 2 exposure site has had it’s time frame updated, with officials asking for those that were at the location to quarantine immediately.
TIER 2 Exposure location – Updated time
Waikerie – United Petrol Station (including Viewpoint Cafe), Wednesday 13 October – 6.15pm to 7.30pm
If you were at the above location at the specified date and time, you must immediately quarantine for 14 days since you were there and get tested immediately, then get tested again on day 5 and day 13. You must also notify SA Health that you were at the location at the time of the exposure.
SA has today recorded no new cases, with seven in total currently active. A total of 3,827 south Aussies were tested yesterday.
So far, close to 60% of South Australians have been double vaccinated, with over 70% having their first dose.
