One of Adelaide’s best craft beer destinations, Shapeshifter Brewing Co, is ready to deliver the Craic to their customers this St Paddy’s Day.
For those unfamiliar, Craic is the Irish word for fun, great conversation and entertainment, and Shapeshifter Brewing Co is the perfect place to enjoy the Irish festivities this St Patrick’s Day.
Shapeshifter co-founder Kevin Mulcahy says their taproom is the ideal Craic destination, promising a day full of Irish dancing, food and most importantly, their special limited-edition Irish Stout.
“We’ve got Adelaide’s best Celtic band The Borderers belting out the great Irish music, top Irish dancing troupe Newry Dance Studio providing the Riverdance style moves, Irish food for the day, and best of all, what Shapeshifter does best, a special limited-edition beer The Craic, exclusively produced for St Paddy’ Day.” Mr Mulcahy said.
This limited-edition Irish Stout will only be available for the day at Shapeshifter and select bottle shops throughout Adelaide for St Patrick’s Day.
Co-founder and Head Brewer, James McCall, says Shapeshifters “The Craic” is every part the traditional Irish Stout.
“It’s almost jet black in appearance, it has a nuanced bitterness with dark chocolate and roasted notes from the speciality malts and is perfect for St Paddy’s Day celebrations.” Mr McCall said.
St Patrick’s Day celebrations at Shapeshifter Brewing Co start at 3pm on Thursday March 17. Entry is free and the Irish celebrations will continue on into the night.
