If you’re struggling to find a tutor that really gets both you and your child’s needs, the search may have just ended. A new tutoring centre has opened its doors in Windsor Gardens, with the promise of being more interactive, motivating, and, to put it simply, friendly.
The centre is led by husband-and-wife team Dhruv and Disha, who say their goal goes beyond academic improvement.
“Our focus is on helping students overcome challenges in the moment, so they can learn from mistakes and build a deeper understanding,” Dhruv says. “We aim to empower every student, ensuring no one feels left out. By creating a supportive and approachable environment, we build genuine connections that motivate students and give them the confidence to ask questions.”
The centre provides personalised tutoring for reception to year 12 students, and employs high-achieving university students across fields like medicine, engineering and education, a move Dhruv says helps ensure students are learning from tutors who are both academically strong and passionate about helping others succeed.
Families can begin with a free student assessment to understand where their child is at academically and how sessions can be tailored to build confidence and progress.
The centre is built around a simple goal: to motivate, inspire and uplift students so they feel confident in how they learn. For Dhruv and Disha, that mission is deeply personal.
Both having backgrounds in engineering and aviation, the pair say education very much shaped their own career paths and life opportunities. They met while living in different cities, Dhruv in Sydney and Disha in Adelaide, before building their life together in South Australia and deciding to launch the franchise locally.
“We both grew up attending extra classes in maths, English and science,” Dhruv says. “That support helped shape who we are today. Bringing Success Tutoring to Adelaide is our way of giving back and helping students reach their potential.”

The Windsor Gardens centre takes a deliberately different approach to traditional tutoring environments. Classes are limited to just six students per tutor, creating a focused, supportive setting designed to encourage participation and reduce distractions.
“There are a lot of students who are shy to ask questions because they’re worried about being judged,” Dhruv explains. “We’re here to build confidence. The more students engage, the more they grow.”
A points-based reward system encourages participation and active learning.
“The more students ask questions and get involved, the more points they earn. At the end of the week or month, once they’ve built up enough points, they can choose a free gift from the cabinet in our centre,” Dhruv says.
Structured feedback at the end of each session then helps students understand mistakes and build stronger foundations.
“It’s not just about getting answers right or wrong,” he says. “We spend time showing students why something didn’t work, so they leave with clarity and confidence.”
Parents are also closely involved, with regular updates and a dedicated app that allows them to schedule sessions, track progress and communicate directly with tutors.
Open year-round, Success Tutoring supports students during term time with maths and English, while school holidays introduce creative and skill-building programs such as coding, AI introductions, public speaking and creative writing.

Beyond academics, the centre also focuses on the social side, hosting events like movie nights and Lego sessions to help students feel comfortable and engaged.
“We’re building a place where students feel supported, where they’re encouraged to ask questions, and where they develop skills that stay with them for life,” Dhruv says.
Sessions run from 4pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, designed to fit around school and work schedules.
Dhruv and Disha say the response from families has been strong, and they’re excited to grow.
The Success Tutoring mission is simple, for every one of their students to succeed at the highest possible level they can.
