Butcher, Nick Martin has made the switch from human produce to pet produce, when he saw a gap in the market for pampered pooches.
Although this is an unlikely TAIL (we had to), the seven week old business has been a hit with locals and dog lovers alike.
Nick has completely scrapped meat for humans and is now giving pets his undivided attention.
The Ethelton store is stocked with pre-made meals, smoked delicacies, freshly ground mince and a selection of gourmet doggie treats for that extra lucky pooch.
Owners Nick and Eliza Martin are encouraging customers to bring their pups along for the ride, so they too can visit the wonders of ‘The Pet Butcher’ and create a family-friendly atmosphere.
Dogs are allowed in-store, which makes it not only an exciting experience for your pet, but also a doggie meet up place for owners and dogs to meet likeminded people and pups.
The store has already had immense success in its first months and is already planning a potential expansion.
Nick is hoping to “open two more shops in the future and also supply regular butcher shops with some of our packaged products”.
Additionally, The Pet Butcher is opening an online store within the next few weeks, making it even easier to treat your pooches.
