The Riverland’s Favourite Distillery Opens a City Home

The team behind South Australia’s most celebrated Distillery, Twenty Third Street Distillery at Renmark, are launching a brand new experience bar.

The team behind South Australia’s most celebrated Distillery, Twenty Third Street Distillery at Renmark, are launching a brand new experience bar, Twenty Third Street on Melbourne. The specially created bar brings the stories from the Renmark Distillery to the heart of North Adelaide.

“The space is a true representation of our Renmark Distillery,” says Group Venues Manager, Renee Bezzina.

“We know many South Australians love the Twenty Third Street Distillery products but have not had the chance to experience the unique and vibrant environment they are created in. Twenty Third Street on Melbourne will change this.”

To further showcase the feel of the distinctive and historic South Australian Distillery, Twenty Third Street on Melbourne allows guests to experience a 360-degree virtual reality tour video of the Renmark venue, by way of a virtual reality headset at the bar.

Visitors can partake in a number of tailored experiences onsite including gin blending sessions, rum blending sessions, cocktail master classes and immersion sessions with Distillers and Brewers.

“We have designed the venue to engage and educate our guests,” says Twenty Third Street Distillery’s Master Distiller, Graham Buller.

“We want people to learn about our rich history, enjoy our prime spirits and get to know our team and what makes Twenty Third Street different and unique for South Australia.”

Patrons can also take advantage of Twenty Third Street on Melbourne’s personalised bottle offering. By purchasing a bottle of gin to drink onsite, the team will personalise the label with a customer’s name which will then be showcased in the bar cellar onsite and accessible to have a drink from when visiting the bar.

The intimate, 70-person bar also offers an array of flight options including wine flights featuring McLaren Vale’s Beresford Wines and beer flights from Fox Hat and Vale Brewing as well as a specially curated menu of cheese and charcuterie boards and wood-oven pizzas.

Twenty Third Street on Melbourne opens to the public on Thursday 8th November at 129 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide.
