Three Iconic South Australian Companies Collaborate To Bring You A Delicious Treat

Haigh’s Chocolates, Coopers Brewery and Yalumba… Three infinitely South Australian companies have combined to bring you a box of chocolates that may just be heaven sent…

When you combine three powerhouse and iconic South Australian brands, you get a box of deliciousness. Everyone’s favourite chocolate making family have released a unique collaboration as a part of their centenary celebration and all just in time for Father’s Day.

So who is Australia’s oldest, family owned chocolate maker collaborating with? Well, they have worked with Yalumba, Australia’s oldest family owned winery and Coopers, Australia’s oldest family owned brewery to introduce the appropriately named “The Collaboration” – a handmade box containing three very special chocolates:

70% Dark Chocolate Truffle – featuring a special blend of chocolate made with South American, Pacific and African cocoa beans. The richly flavoured truffle centre has been hand rolled in layers of 70% Dark Chocolate and decorated with shimmering gold fleck.

Antique Tawny Fig Liqueur – plump Australia dried figs are steeped in Yalumba Antique Tawny for two weeks. The fruit is then dipped into a tawny infused fondant, enrobed in two layers of milk chocolate and hand decorated before being carefully cellared prior to release.

Stout Ganache – a rich, dark chocolate ganache centre is flavoured with Coopers’ award winning Stout. A top layer of smooth malt frappe completes the centre which is enrobed in premium dark chocolate and decorated with bronze pearls.



Getting in on the ‘South Australia party’ is Adelaide company Box Biz. They are using their unique box making skills to handcraft a beautiful box for the equally beautiful chocolates to sit in. Adorning the box is a large ornate ‘C’ (for collaboration and centenary) that incorporates cocoa pods, grape vines and hops, an illustrative representation of the three businesses – we think that is so clever!

“We thought it was fitting to launch this special project during our centenary year, a milestone we now share with both companies, the new truffle is in fact also our Centenary chocolate and this is its first release” said Haigh’s Chocolates Chief Executive Officer Alister Haigh.

Taking twelve months to develop, the chocolates were shown every inch of the respect, time and passion that they deserve to see the resulting chocolate perfection in a little box we can now purchase today!
