Adelaide Hills restaurant Oleaceae have taken the much-loved kids platter and turned it into a babycinno board, pumping it full of colour and making it every kids sweetest dream!
Adorned with marshmallows, sour rainbow strap, chocolate brownie, wafer, and a babycinno that’s topped with a lashing of sprinkles, this eight-dollar offering is sure to satisfy their sweet-tooth craving these school holidays.
The family run Mediterranean restaurant is located on the historic Gawler Street in Mount Barker and has been keeping the tummy’s of locals satisfied with their fresh and extensive menu.
Just twenty minutes away from the city, their food combines local produce with authentic Mediterranean flavours that appeals to a wide-array of appetites. Items such as their slow-cooked beef cheek gnocchi, lemon and herb spatchcock and honey and red wine chorizo get the tastebuds turning over.
Matched to local brews, wines, and Mediterranean-inspired cocktails, your meal can be enjoyed over their extended outdoor terrace, providing diners with a relaxed alfresco dining experience. Functions big and small are welcome too and are sure to keep the guests happy.
Their kids menu homes a heap of favourites including, pasta bolognese, tacos and skewers, along with a healthy-alternative platter to keep the nibblers happy. Part of the list, their babycinno board is a big hit with kids (and adults who are just hoping for some leftovers!).
On offering too are kids birthday high-teas for little ladies and gents aged four to twelve. Kids are offered a choice of hot chocolate, babycinno or juice before tucking in to a selection of finger sandwiches, fruit, mini sweets and grazing items. Fear not, there is also high-tea for the adults with champagne and sangria to boot!
They’ve even thought of your furriest friends! With the restaurant cleverly putting up a platter for pups, full of safe and tasty treats, complete with puppacinno!
