The party attracted a wide range of tradies and ladies, varying in age, who all applied for tickets to the party in the hope of finding love.
This was spurred on by the success of last years party which resulted in an engagement.
Most of the ladies agreed that a tradie’s biggest asset is being “down to earth” and “able to fix stuff, while looking good.”
Funnily enough however, most of the tradies were apparently ‘forced’ to sign up by a friend/workmate/complete stranger.
On arrival, the ‘ladies’ were give a bolt and the ‘tradies’ a nut and told to see who they matched up with.
However, most of the nuts fit a number of bolts making a few of the tradies rather excited to have a range of lovely ladies as their matches.
Triple M’s Hot Breakfast team stole the show with some of the tradies more interested in getting photos with the lovely Ali Carle than the other ladies.
When the ladies weren’t chatting with Mark Ricciuto or Warren Tredrea the sparks were flying with the tradies.
One of the guests Anne Fedorowytsch said she was glad she decided to go to the party.
“I had an awesome time with my girlfriends,” she said.
“The event had a really good vibe with it, we enjoyed good food and wine, and got to mingle with plenty of other singles.”
Surprisingly, ‘most’ people held their drink rather well and the party was a great fun, it was a pity it ended so early otherwise everyone would have partied into the night.
However, whether or not the party matched up any soulmates, only time will tell.
