With the October long weekend just at our fingertips, Woodhouse Activity Centre is gearing up to host an epic weekend of fun for this Labour Day.

Set to be a weekend of wicked fun, the picturesque Piccadilly-based campsite will be home to a Spring Break camping party, where families can camp under the stars and participate in the exciting activities Woodhouse has in store.

Just ten minutes up the South Eastern freeway experience the magic of Woodhouse as you camp out on the stunning 54-hectare property.

With school holidays in full swing, the team at Woodhouse have created an array of exclusive

activities for families and children attending the Spring Break camping weekend bonanza.

Arrive at the Adelaide Hills location bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 9am October 1 and set up your camping haven before heading out for the day. Campers can crawl, swing and climb through Woody’s Challenge Hill or master their way through the labyrinth maze. Further fun activities include rock climbing, disc golf, orienteering and laser skirmish.

With the sun set to shine on South Australia this Saturday, campers can visit the exclusive Spring Break outdoor cinema and watch a family-friendly movie on the massive Scouts SA screen.

To celebrate the arrival of daylight savings, Woodhouse Activity Centre has also extended its popular tube slide to an exclusive Twilight Tubing event on Sunday, October 3. Families can whiz down the 100m slope as the sun sets in the background on the final night of the camping festivities.

While you can marvel at the rugged beauty of the Adelaide Hills landscape from your tent, families won’t be ‘roughing it’ traditional camping style, with toilets, hot showers, BBQ facilities and a shared campfire circle.

Families can choose to camp for one or two nights, or across the whole weekend, with family tickets retailing at $85. For those with a Scouts SA membership, a 20% discount will apply to your campsite booking. Children and concession tickets retail at $22 per night, with adults (+16) priced at $25. Children under five can also stay free at Woodhouse Activity Centre!

While Woodhouse’s Spring Break party is set to be a weekend of family-friendly fun, unfortunately, your furry, four-legged family members cannot visit the Piccadilly site.

You can find Woodhouse Activity Centre at 37 Spring Gully Road, Piccadilly SA, 5151.
