The extended three-day program will include exciting new activations, pop-ups and premiere ticketed fashion events.

From 17–19 October, Vogue Festival will take over the heart of the city with dozens of events celebrating Australian fashion, lifestyle, beauty, skincare and more.

Presented by Vogue Australia in partnership with the Rundle Mall Management Authority (RMMA), City of Adelaide and the South Australian Tourism Commission, 2019 marks the third year of this prestigious event.

The extended three-day program will include exciting new activations, pop-ups and premiere ticketed fashion events.

An extravaganza of all things fashion, fun and food, the event will see Rundle Mall and Rundle Street come alive.

Johanna Williams, General Manager of the Rundle Mall Management Authority, says, “Vogue Australia has inspired fashion on a global level for almost sixty years. It joins with the state’s iconic retail destination, Rundle Mall and Rundle Street, to bring the best to Adelaide’s fashion scene.

“Shoppers will be able to indulge in all that Vogue Festival has to offer with unique and immersive experiences right in the heart of Adelaide,” says Johanna Williams.

New to the line-up this year, Vogue Festival is excited to welcome GQ Australia to Adelaide, the leading authority on men’s fashion and lifestyle, with a series of events, panel talks and dining experiences.

Learn about the art of fashion at ‘Voices of Vogue Festival’ on Friday, 18th and Saturday, 19th October, with talks from Vogue Australia’s editor-in-chief, Edwina McCann, and GQ Australia editor, Mike Christensen, with additional high-profile and local guest speakers yet to be announced.

Johanna Williams says, “This exciting, new public event is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from industry leaders, beauty moguls and Australian fashion designers themselves. They will be discussing a range of topics within the fashion world that you will not want to miss.”

The East End will also see couture fashion powerhouse, Paul Vasileff, take part in a Q&A aimed at local emerging designers.

On Thursday, 17th October, before the retail festivities commence, award-winning restaurant Sean’s Kitchen will host its annual Vogue Kitchen Lunch, and in the evening, will present the inaugural GQ Supper Club hosted by GQ Australia editor, Mike Christensen.

Vogue Festival’s official opening will be held at Rundle Mall’s ‘Malls Balls’ from 12pm on Friday, 18th October, and will be formally launched by Vogue Australia’s editor-in-chief, Edwina McCann.

Edwina McCann says “We are delighted to be hosting Vogue Festival in Adelaide for the third consecutive year. It provides a wonderful opportunity to showcase the state’s leading shopping precinct and deliver real impact for retailers. The expanded program is incredibly exciting and promises to make this year bigger and better than ever. It’s going to be a wonderful experience for consumers and we can’t wait.”
