Adelaide will soon officially be in World Cup mode, with pubs, bars and venues across the city rolling out giant screens, ice-cold beers and electric atmospheres for soccer fans from every corner of the globe.

Australia’s campaign kicks off on Sunday, June 14th, when the Socceroos take on Türkiye in Vancouver, before an early morning clash against the USA in Seattle on Saturday, June 20th. The green and gold will then face Paraguay in San Francisco on Friday, June 26th, as they fight to make it through the group stage.

So whether you’re backing the Socceroos, cheering on your family’s home nation, or simply looking for a packed-out venue when the final whistle blows, here’s a handful of places turning every match into a full-blown event. While the tournament itself will be played across North America, local fans will still get the chance to feel part of the action, with Australia’s three group-stage matches to be broadcast live, undercover, at one of Adelaide’s premier sporting venues.

The Live Site will give fans a central place to come together for every Socceroos group match, with DJs, MCs, food and drinks helping create a match-day atmosphere no matter the kick-off time.

The Joiners Arms Hotel

The World Cup atmosphere is heading to Hindmarsh as The Joiners Arms Hotel throws open the doors for a huge afternoon of football, beers and live music. Catch Australia take on Türkiye on June 14th, on the big screen with cold drinks flowing and proper pub vibes all afternoon long. Expect $7.50 pints of Mary St Lager, plenty of great food and drinks, free entry, and live Latin music from Red Tide after the final whistle.
