“I would encourage SA performers to apply for Miss Burlesque SA,” said 2010 winner Flavella L’Amour. “It’s lot’s of fun!”
State finalists will go onto the national final, where they have the chance to take out the national title and a host of prizes including an overseas holiday, $5000 cash courtesy of Green Fairy Absinth, a costume worth $2000 by Show Girl Couture, feather fans by Flo Foxworthy and much more.
Entrants will be required to perform three routines, one each for the categories of Classic Burlesque, Neo-Burlesque and Unique Show. There will also be a group gown parade. Both seasoned professionals and talented beginners are welcome to participate.
