With Father’s Day just around the corner, there’s heaps on to treat any special father figure! There are plenty of long lunches, feed me dinners, and even buffet breakfasts that have been perfectly curated to suit all kinds of dads. So if you’re still stuck on what to do (or yet to plan anything), here are a few ideas that are sure to impress.

Father’s Day at Kies Family Wines

Spend Father’s Day in the Barossa with a relaxed afternoon of great food, local wine, live music and plenty of time to settle in with the family at Kies Family Wines.

The day will feature live music from Joe Ahern and The Cutters, Barossa wines and craft beer, plus hearty food from the award-winning Monkey Nut Café. There are no set menus or rushed sittings, with families encouraged to enjoy the afternoon at their own pace.

Kids are welcome, making it an easy option for the whole family to celebrate Dad together.

Father’s Day at Para Hills Community Club

Celebrate Dad with a relaxed family meal and live music at Para Hills Community Club this Father’s Day.

The club will be serving its full à la carte menu throughout the day, with plenty of favourites to choose from for lunch or dinner. Every Dad will also receive a complimentary gift as a little extra Father’s Day treat.

From 4pm, T-Junction will take to the stage with live music, making it an easy option for families wanting to settle in and spend the afternoon together.

Father’s Day Lunch at the Mosaic

Celebrate Father’s Day at Mosaic Hotel with a relaxed lunch, chef’s specials and a few extra treats just for Dad.

Alongside the à la carte menu, guests can enjoy special drinks and a free Father’s Day raffle, while families can choose between full table service in the Atrium or Restaurant, or a more casual meal in the new undercover Beer Garden.

For a little extra fun, make a day of it with a round at X-Golf or Hey Caddy upstairs before or after lunch.

Celebrate Dad with golf, pizza and a little family competition this Father’s Day at X-Golf and Hey Caddy West Lakes.

At X-Golf, families can choose from two great-value bundles for four people, combining simulator hire, pizzas, drinks, club hire and Father’s Day extras. Packages start from $189, making it an easy all-weather option whether Dad is a seasoned golfer or just keen for some fun.

Father’s Day Feast at Wined Bar

Treat Dad to a long lunch at the National Wine Centre this Father’s Day, with a generous feast served at Wined Bar overlooking one of Adelaide’s most iconic settings.

The $89 per person menu includes crispy pork belly and slow-roasted sirloin, accompanied by potato pavé, charred broccolini, honey-glazed Dutch carrots, roasted shallot salad, pepperberry jus, horseradish crème fraîche and Café de Paris butter.

Each guest will also receive a glass of Penfolds Limited Edition Release 2024 Special Shiraz, with an optional cheese board and children’s menu available on the day.

Father’s Day Supercars Bundles at The Bend

Give Dad a Father’s Day gift with some serious horsepower, with special Supercars bundles available for the AirTouch 500 at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park.

The Superdad Bundle combines a weekend seat in the Turn 1 Grandstand with a V8 Superlaps experience on the East Circuit, with the choice of either a Holden or Mustang.

From the grandstand, Dad can catch all the Supercars action across the weekend, with views of drivers braking into Turn 1, battling for position and accelerating back onto the circuit. Tickets also include Pit Paddock access and entry to the Welcome Centre.

The package is topped off with two passenger hotlaps of the East Circuit, putting Dad right in the middle of the action.

Celebrate Father’s Day by the water at Marina Pier, with a range of waterfront dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

At Seafire on the Marina, choose from the à la carte menu or the $110 per person Feed Me Experience, featuring a chef-curated selection of favourites.

Ellenika Traditional Greek Taverna will be serving its full à la carte menu for lunch and dinner, while Luciano’s offers waterfront dining throughout the day, from breakfast through to dinner.

For something a little different, Tomiko Japanese Steak House will be serving both Teppanyaki and à la carte options for lunch and dinner.

At Junipers on the Marina, every Dad receives a complimentary pint, with the choice of a $79 three-course set lunch or the regular à la carte menu.

Sammy’s on the Marina is serving up a Father’s Day seafood feast, including a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, while The Wharf & Co. will open from 11:30am with both à la carte and Feed Me options available.

Unley Shopping Centre is celebrating Dad with free novelty socks, a special message wall and a kids’ colouring competition.

From August 27th to September 6th, shoppers who spend $60 or more in one transaction at Coles or Woolworths, or $60 across participating specialty retailers on the same day, can claim a free pair of novelty socks for Dad while stocks last.

Kids can also enter the Father’s Day colouring competition for the chance to win an $80 Grill’d gift voucher, while families can leave a message, memory or thank-you for Dad on the centre’s Father’s Day display.

Father’s Day at the Arkaba Hotel

Head to the Adelaide Hills for a relaxed Father’s Day feast at LOT.100, with a three-course shared lunch designed for the whole family.

The $65 menu includes antipasto, wood-fired pizzas, beef brisket with salad and chips, and cannoli to finish. A kids’ menu is available for $25, and you can even pre-order a bottle of 78° Australian Whiskey to be waiting on the table for Dad.

Settle in for a relaxed Father’s Day Sunday session among the vines at Paxton Wines in McLaren Vale.

Celebrate Dad by the beach as Henley House goes big for Father’s Day with a $79 feast, tastings, cocktails and prizes.

The menu features plenty from the grill, including pork belly, fried chicken, braised beef rib, lamb rump and blackened pork chop, alongside shared snacks and sides. There’ll also be complimentary Yangarra wine and 23rd Street Distillery tastings, raffles and a tomahawk experience up for grabs.
