A guide to SA events cancelled due to COVID-19

In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, events across the state are facing cancellation. Here’s a list of the latest events which have been cancelled or postponed.

In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, events across the state are facing cancellation. Events coordinated by Feast, State Opera and State Theatre Company are among events which have been overturned.

Ripcord – State Theatre Company, Dunstan Playhouse (Tuesday, 17 – Saturday, 21 November)

The first week of performances of the State Theatre Company’s Ripcord have been cancelled.

Event organisers will contact ticket holders. Ticket holders can get a refund on their tickets of request to be on a reseat list for performances after the shutdown period.

Summer of the Seventeenth Doll – State Opera, Her Majesty’s Theatre (Wednesday, 18 and Friday, 20 November)

Two of the State Opera’s remaining Summer of the Seventeenth Doll performances are facing cancellation. All ticket holders are eligible for a full refund via ticketing partner BASS.

Of All Things – Australian Dance Theatre, The Odeon (Thursday, 19 November – Sunday, 22 November)

The first four sessions of the Australian Dance Theatre’s Of All Things have been postponed until Thursday, 3 November.

Event organisers will contact ticket holders to reallocate tickets for new performaces. Tickets will go on sale for the rescheduled performances at a later date.

West End Art Talks – Samstag, Samstag Museum of Art (Saturday, 20 November)

Saturday’s West End Art Talks and associated events will be cancelled. The Samstag galleries will also close on Wednesday.

SkyCity Launch – SkyCity Casino, SkyCity Casino Adelaide (Thursday, 26 November)

Highly anticipated launch events for the SkyCity Adelaide Expansion will be postponed until Tuesday, 1 December.

The event’s new dates are subject to restrictions at the time, for more information, contact event organisers.

Picnic in the Park – Feast, Pinky Flat/Tarntanya Wama  (Sunday, 29 November)

Adelaide’s LGBTIQ+ Queer Arts and Cultural Festival, Feast, have cancelled their Picnic in the Park event until 2021.

Event organisers will contact ticket holders to enable them to refund their ticket or offer the opportunity to donate their ticket purchase to Feast LGBTIQ+ Queer Arts & Cultural Festival.
