Adelaide Cabaret Fringe is causing Marvellous Miz Demeanours

The Marvellous Miz Demeanours present their own brand of mischievous comedy cabaret, containing wicked harmonies, quirky pop and tongue-in-cheek original songs.



miz demeanours-hi res2015Sensational four part harmony act, the Marvellous Miz Demeanours are set to take Adelaide by storm premiering their show Play With That!, with two shows at La Boheme as part of the the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2015.

Presenting their own brand of mischievous comedy cabaret, the Marvellous Miz Demeanours captivate audiences with effortless repartee, wicked harmonies, scandalous jazz and blues, quirky pop and tongue-in-cheek original songs.

 The Marvellous Miz Demeanours are vocalists MizChief (Karen Strahan), MizHap (Gaye Reid), MizConduct (Jill Walsh) and MizGiving (Lisa McClelland) who are strongly supported by vocalist/pianist John Hill and drummer Ben Schumann.

We love coming up with original, playful arrangements covering a wide range of artists from Bette Midler and the mighty Duke Ellington to Liza Minnelli and Rosemary Clooney. Were so thrilled to be performing in Adelaide for the first time. I think Adelaide audiences will really love our humour”, chief Miz Demeanour felon, Karen Strahan said.

Over the past three years the Marvellous Miz Demeanours have thrilled audiences with their infectious frivolity, performing in Canberra, the Gold Coast, Sydney and throughout regional NSW. Spreading their cheer and winning fans wherever they appear with a highlight being a sold-out performance at the famous Spiegeltent. Now it is Adelaide’s turn to witness some entertaining misdemeanours!

The Marvellous Miz Demeanours’ Play With That is on for 2 shows only at La Boheme, Sat 30th and Sun 31st May; with both performances starting at 6pm.
