Friday brings a slight dip in temperature back to 25 degrees, with partly cloudy conditions and just a slight chance of a shower. It does not look like a washout by any measure, but there may be enough cloud around to take the edge off the warmer start to the week. By Saturday, Adelaide stays partly cloudy with a top of 24 degrees, while southeasterly winds pick up to 15 to 25 km/h before turning easterly in the evening.
Sunday continues the settled pattern, with another partly cloudy day and temperatures lifting to 26 degrees. Easterly winds are expected to stay in the mix, keeping that familiar spring feel across the suburbs and along the coast. Monday then shapes up as the warmest day of the seven-day outlook, with Adelaide forecast to reach 29 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Easterly winds will turn northeasterly during the morning, adding to the warmer feel across the metro area.
By Tuesday, the pattern becomes a little more changeable. Showers are back in the picture, with a medium chance of rain and possible falls of up to 4 mm. The top is expected to reach 27 degrees before winds shift westerly during the day, marking the clearest sign yet that the settled run may be starting to break.
For Adelaide residents, it’s a fairly easy week to plan around. There is no sign of significant rain in the short term, and most days will be dry, partly cloudy and mild to warm. The broader statewide outlook remains warmer than average through to Saturday, with only light rainfall expected for most districts. Southern coasts may see the odd isolated shower, while the far southwest has the best chance of seeing thunderstorm activity. Rainfall totals are expected to stay low in most places, generally less than 2 mm across western parts and southern coasts, although local falls of 2 to 10 mm are possible in the far southwest, Kangaroo Island and the southern coasts of the Lower South East. For those on the water, Adelaide’s metropolitan waters look relatively calm through the period, with seas below 1 metre and only a freshening southeasterly on Saturday.
