Luxury retirement living is set for a major upgrade in Adelaide’s west, with plans approved for a new eight-level community at West Lakes featuring 110 two and three-bedroom independent living apartments.
Living Choice West Lakes has received Development Approval for the Norman Road and Turner Drive project, with completion expected in late 2029.
And while the apartments will offer plenty of space, it’s the resort-style amenities that really set the development apart.
Residents will have access to an indoor magnesium swimming pool, fully equipped gym, cinema, 120-seat auditorium, library and BBQ terrace, alongside a collection of lifestyle and wellness spaces.
One of the standout spaces will be The Horizon, a seventh-floor residents’ retreat designed to make the most of the development’s elevated outlook.
The space will include a sky bar, kitchen and outdoor terrace, with sweeping views across Grange Golf Course and West Lakes, extending towards the coastline and Adelaide CBD.
Tregoning Hobbs Group CEO Darren Steele said the development approval marked a major milestone for the privately owned group, with directors Ian Tregoning and Graham Hobbs both having grown up in Adelaide’s western suburbs.
