Adelaide International Cello Festival

The Adelaide International Cello Festival is a series of concerts featuring both International and Australian artists from April 1-10.

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and the University of Adelaide will be performing as part of the festival.

The ASO certainly has immense talent showcasing several musicians including David Geringas, Nicolas Altstaedt, twin Cellists Pei-Jee and Pei-Sian Ng, Li-Wei, and Gabriel Schwabe.

Other highlights include Cellos at Lunch and Virtuoso concerts in the majestic Elder Hall, Masterclasses, Young Artists and Junior Cello Festival Concerts, Pedagogy forums and workshops, and new works for cello and orchestra by Australian Composer.

A highlight of the festival will be international violinmaker Frank Ravatin and his team making a cello in just 10 days.
