Adelaide weather forecast for Friday July 31st and the days ahead

Happy Friday! Here’s the weather for July 31st and a look at what’s to come this weekend.

After a frosty start to Friday, Adelaide is settling into a classic winter pattern, with plenty of cloud, cool temperatures and little chance of rain before the weather takes a wetter turn later in the weekend.

Today will reach a top of 15 degrees after an overnight low of 7 degrees, with cloudy skies and light winds making for a calm but chilly day. Despite the cloud cover, rain isn’t expected.

Saturday shapes up much the same, with another crisp morning dipping to 7 degrees before climbing to 15 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Light winds and dry conditions should make it a great day to get outdoors.

Sunday brings the warmest temperatures of the forecast, reaching 17 degrees, but it’s also when umbrellas may be needed. Sunshine is expected through the morning before showers develop during the afternoon and evening as northerly winds strengthen and a cold front approaches South Australia.

The new week begins with cooler conditions. Monday will see a top of 14 degrees with a chance of lingering showers before skies remain mostly cloudy into Tuesday, again with a top of 14 degrees.

By Wednesday, Adelaide should enjoy a welcome return to mostly sunny skies and a slightly warmer maximum of 16 degrees, before another possible shower arrives on Thursday alongside a top of 17 degrees.

Happy Friday!
