Royal Adelaide Show tickets go on sale today

Tickets for the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show are on sale now, with discounted family passes, the return of Night Shift and thrilling new attractions including Hot Wheels stunt shows and a world-record human cannonball.

The countdown to one of South Australia’s biggest annual events is officially on, with tickets for the 2026 Royal Adelaide Show on sale from today ahead of nine jam-packed days of rides, showbags, animals, food, competitions and family entertainment.

Running from September 5th to 13th at the Adelaide Showground, this year’s Show welcomes new headline attractions alongside much-loved traditions that have made the event a South Australian institution.

Among the biggest additions is the arrival of the Hot Wheels Stunt Spectacular, which will join the Show’s popular Night Shift program, complete with fireworks and a jaw-dropping Human Cannonball performance by Guinness World Records holder David “The Bullet” Smith from the United States.

Families looking to save can take advantage of an exclusive early offer through presenting partner Drakes Supermarkets, with weekday family passes available for $59 instead of the usual $69 between August 5th and 18th.

The 2026 Show is celebrating 100 years of Cookery competitions. Alongside traditional baking categories, this year’s competition features playful new classes including FruChoc Racing Cars made from Weet-Bix and a Shearer’s Morning Tea challenge, showcasing the creativity of home cooks across the state.

“The Royal Adelaide Show is South Australia’s ultimate get together,” shared Royal Adelaide Show Chief Operating Officer Mark McKay. “It’s where the best of our state comes together, from award-winning food and wine, livestock and produce to entertainment, family fun and the people and communities that make South Australia unique.

“With endless experiences across the Showground, including over 100 free things to do, you could spend the entire day here and still not see everything. That’s why we encourage families to secure their tickets, plan ahead and use the Show Planner on our website so they don’t miss a thing.”

Drakes Director John-Paul Drake added, “The Royal Adelaide Show is a South Australian tradition that’s brought families together for generations, and we’re proud to continue being part of it,” Mr Drake said.

“As a South Aussie family business, we’re introducing discounted weekly family tickets this year to make it easier for families to attend and enjoy everything the Show has to offer.”

General admission prices remain at $29 for weekday adults and $35 on weekends, with after 6pm tickets and discounted carnival passes also available.
