There are few industries that understand the beauty and music of an incredible dining experience quite like hospitality. And if you’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with a hospo crew, you’ll know they rarely waste a good night out. Long nights, 3am finishes, and weekend shifts mean when you finally get a chance to be on the other side of the counter, you’ll make the dining experience count.
This is something Adelaide’s oldest and most luxurious teppanyaki restaurant understands well. That’s why they’re giving Adelaide’s hospitality workers a reason to make the most of their weeknights with a brand-new offering: Hospitality Nights, a new midweek dining experience designed for the people who help shape Adelaide’s food, wine and restaurant scene.

Available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Hospitality Nights invites those in the industry to step away from service and into Shiki, with an indulgent, curated three-course Japanese dining experience priced at $99 per person. The offer is designed as a thank you to Adelaide’s hospo professionals, while also giving them the chance to experience one of the city’s most refined teppanyaki destinations on their own well-earned evening off.
For anyone who has spent nights carrying plates, pouring drinks, working a pass, managing a floor or keeping a kitchen moving, this is the midweek reset you’re not just squeezing in after a long shift. Instead, they’ll be treated to the full Shiki experience.

The menu begins with a sashimi selection of Atlantic salmon and South Australian kingfish, before moving to the teppan for grilled squid and scallops, Mt Gambier beef tenderloin, mixed vegetables, vegetable fried rice and miso soup. To finish, guests are served green tea with matcha cookies, with the option for an additional dessert course for $10 per person.
Shiki is also offering a two-hour unlimited beverage inclusion for $45 per person, including house sake, wine and beer.
Long known for its theatrical teppanyaki experience, premium Japanese flavours and all-round elevated dining experience, Shiki has built a reputation on its intimate yet entertaining atmosphere. Chefs prepare dishes in front of guests, demonstrating mastery and precision. Guests will most likely leave raving about the moment the flambé rises high off the grill, the heat radiates across the table, and the aroma of Shiki’s steak fills the room. Delightful!

With Hospitality Nights, that experience is being opened up in a way that feels especially fitting for the people who spend so much of their own time creating memorable nights for others.
And with Tuesday and Wednesday often being the precious days off for many in the industry, Hospitality Nights lands exactly where it should.
