Tickets have officially gone on sale for Australia’s grandest festival of the sport, the AFL Gather Round 2024. From Thursday, April 4th to Sunday, April 7th, footy fans will flock to Adelaide, Norwood, and Mount Barker for four action-packed days of football festivities.
The excitement began last November when the AFL Gather Round 2024 full fixture was unveiled, with the Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power setting the stage for an electrifying opening weekend.
On Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at 7:10 pm, the Adelaide Crows will take on Melbourne, while on Friday, April 5th, at 7:40 pm, Port Adelaide will face off against Essendon. Both epic clashes will unfold at the iconic Adelaide Oval.
The festival will coincide with Round 4 of the Toyota AFL Premiership Season. Building upon the success of its 2023 debut, Gather Round 2024 promises an even more exhilarating experience for fans. Stay tuned for the full fixture of matches, yet to be released.
The AFL strategically chose Round 4 for the festival, taking into account fixture flexibility and the potential for increased interstate travel.
The timing couldn’t be better, aligning with the middle weekend of school holidays in Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia, allowing fans from these states to fully immerse themselves in the footy festivities.
Adelaide Oval, renowned for its electric atmosphere, will serve as the festival’s epicentre.
