After more than 20 years in business, Aurum Jewels and its unique and exclusive prestigious jewellery houses is becoming the Adelaide Arcade’s newest hidden gem this October.
Brigitte Zollo — who has spent more than 40 years in the industry, apprenticed to the late Ann Middleton (one of Australia’s famed jewellers) — was bound to develop an eye for fascinating high end pieces.
It is through Aurum Jewels that Brigitte continues to bring her knowledge of gemmology and valuation, as well as her passion for beautifully constructed designs, to Adelaide.
What used to be the historic coin dealer corner store is the perfect spot, for the relocation from Burnside Village to the Adelaide CBD.
Specialising in high end luxury pieces, Aurum Jewels has exclusively sold Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen for 12 years in South Australia. Ole Lynggaard’s playful creations are inspired by Scandinavian landscapes, many of which have been worn by Princess Mary of Denmark.
Pomellato is another exclusive brand from Milan which Brigitte and daughter Francesca visited in February 2020. Worn by celebrities at famous red carpet events such as the Cannes and Venice Film Festivals, Pomellato is famous for its colour rich Nudo Collection. Founded in Milan in 1967 it currently ranks among the top five European jewellery houses.
Pasquale Bruni — also Italian and exclusive to Aurum Jewels, takes an artistic approach to the shape and style in their designs. It has seen them worn by A-list celebrities such as Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Rihanna, J-Lo and Zendaya.
Aurum’s Autore Pearls collection, are from Australia’s most awarded International Pearl designers, direct from their pearl farms of the pristine northern waters of Broome through to Arnhem land.
Roberto Demeglio boasts a unique unisex collection of expandable ceramic and diamond jewellery.
Brigitte says that “even though our products are high-end, our jewellery is organically suited for everyday life, and not just special occasions”. We are jewellery stylists, not just vendors of jewellery.
