Adelaide drivers could soon have access to petrol for potentially as little as $1 per litre, with billionaire entrepreneur Adrian Portelli revealing the location of his first South Australian LMCT+ service station.
The members-only petrol station will take over an existing site at 1112 South Road, on the corner of South and Daws roads at Edwardstown.
LMCT+ revealed the address on social media over the weekend, declaring “it’s time to get to work.”
The station is expected to open within six to eight weeks, placing its anticipated launch around late August or early September, and the discounted petrol will only be available to LMCT+ members, with membership currently advertised at $99.
Adrian Portelli is a controversial Melbourne entrepreneur is the founder of LMCT+, a subscription-based rewards and promotions business. Members receive discounts from partner businesses and entries into major prize draws, which have included luxury cars, cash and property.
He became nationally recognisable as “Lambo Guy” after arriving at The Block auctions in a Lamborghini and subsequently spending millions buying several homes from the program, some of which were later offered through LMCT+ promotions.

Now, he is bringing his members-only discount petrol station to Adelaide, first confirming the plans to in June and promising wholesale fuel prices that could fall as low as $1 per litre.
“They thought they could get rid of us out of SA… SOUTH AUSTRALIA FIRE UP – LMCT+ is coming back,” he said at the time.
The expansion also marks Portelli and LMCT+’s return to South Australia following a court case involving the company’s promotions.
In March, Xclusive Tech, which trades as LMCT+, was fined $40,000 after being found guilty of conducting 10 unlawful lotteries in South Australia between January 2023 and May 2024. Portelli was acquitted of nine charges of assisting in the lotteries.
The Adelaide site will follow the opening of the company’s first petrol station at Preston, Melbourne, where special fuel promotions attracted large crowds and lengthy queues.
The Edwardstown announcement prompted some concerns that similar queues could affect traffic along the already-busy South Road corridor.
“You’re going to bank up traffic and make peak hour worse,” one commenter said.
Others questioned whether future roadworks associated with the River Torrens to Darlington project could affect access to the station.
“That’s going to be the worst spot to build it as once the tunnels start getting done and the roads close due to maintenance your going to lose 80% of business,” another commented.
However, amid the rising cost fuel prices, most welcomed the prospect of cheaper petrol and said they would travel considerable distances to fill up.
“Only 45 minutes away from home, I can’t wait!! Let’s go,” one commenter said.
