South Australian fans can start counting down, because Evanescence is officially returning to Adelaide.
The iconic rock band has announced a huge Australian and New Zealand arena tour for March 2027, with Adelaide locked in for a headline performance at the AEC Arena on Sunday, March 7th.
The tour celebrates the band’s extensive catalogue alongside their newly released album Sanctuary, giving fans the chance to hear everything from early 2000s classics like Bring Me to Life, My Immortal and Going Under through to new tracks including Afterlife and Who Will You Follow.
For many fans, it will be the first opportunity to see the band in a full headline arena setting since their recent Australian appearances supporting Metallica’s M72 World Tour in late 2025, as well as their intimate side shows that sold out quickly around the country.
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Amy Lee, Evanescence first exploded onto the global music scene with their debut album Fallen, which went on to become one of the most successful rock releases of the 21st century, earning multiple Grammy Awards and achieving diamond certification in the United States.
More than two decades later, the band continues to reach new milestones. In 2025, Evanescence secured its first number-one hit on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with Afterlife, written for Netflix’s Devil May Cry.
The band’s latest album Sanctuary, has already generated strong momentum internationally, helping fuel what is shaping up to be one of their biggest global touring cycles to date.
The Australian leg of the tour begins in Perth before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, before concluding with a New Zealand show in Auckland.
Tickets are expected to be in high demand, with multiple presale opportunities launching from Tuesday, June 9th.
Fans who pre-ordered Sanctuary through Jungle Merch will receive early access to tickets, while artist, Vodafone, Mastercard, Spotify and Live Nation presales will also run throughout the week.
General public tickets go on sale from 1pm local time on Friday, June 12th.
