The 2024 Adelaide Motorsport Festival will see Finnish Formula 1 race winner, Valtteri Bottas, make a return.

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is gearing up for another year of high-octane excitement, particularly with the announcement that Finnish Formula 1 race winner, Valtteri Bottas, will be making a triumphant return to the festival in 2024. It promises to bring his trademark adrenaline and charm to the event on Sunday, March 17.

Valtteri Bottas, well-known for his Formula 1 prowess, is set to once again participate in on-track demonstrations and meet his enthusiastic fans in the event’s Grand Marquee. While the specific cars he will be driving are yet to be confirmed, one thing is certain – it’s going to be an unforgettable experience.

“I loved the Adelaide Motorsport Festival last year, so I’m definitely coming back in March, and I’ll be driving some really crazy cars, including some rally cars, legendary Aussie muscle cars, and maybe some surprises. So I can’t wait to see you there,” Bottas says.

Valtteri Bottas was undoubtedly one of the stars of the 2023 Adelaide Motorsport Festival. He enthralled the audience by driving an Alfa Romeo GTV Group A touring car and the 2016 Bathurst 1000-winning Holden VF Commodore V8 Supercar.

His outstanding contributions even earned him a place as an inaugural member of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival Ambassadors’ Club.

Valtteri Bottas’s appearance in Adelaide will follow the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the second round of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is scheduled for March 16 and 17, just a week before the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. This presents a golden opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts to witness the action up close and personal.

Bottas boasts a remarkable Formula 1 career, with over 220 grand prix starts, 10 wins (including the 2019 Australian Grand Prix), 67 podium finishes, and 20 pole positions. He has represented renowned teams such as Williams, AMG Mercedes-Benz, and Alfa Romeo Sauber, leaving an indelible mark on the sport.

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is not just about Valtteri Bottas; it’s a celebration of motorsport in all its glory. The event features categories showcasing Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Group C and A touring cars, sportscars, IndyCars, and much more. Among the jaw-dropping vehicles set to grace the event are the Australian Grand Prix-winning Benetton B190 Ford, the V10-powered Benetton B200, the iconic Mazda 767B sportscar with its famed quad-rotary engine, and the legendary 1991 and 1992 Bathurst 1000-winning Nissan Skyline GT-R R32s. Motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing the Yamaha YZR 500cc and Aprilia ART GP13 in action.
