Flinders Gin pop-up stall launches at the Adelaide Central Markets

South Australia’s first true outback distillery Flinders Gin will be showcasing their range of artisan gin products at the Adelaide Central Market this month.

South Australia is blessed with a whole heap of distilleries showcasing our state’s best spirits.

Capturing the botanical flavours of the beautiful Flinders Ranges, Flinders Gin – South Australia’s first true outback distillery – will be showcasing their range of artisan gin products at the Adelaide Central Market’s latest Producer in Residence for four weeks from January 31 2023.

The Flinders Gin stall will tempt Market shoppers with the distillery’s exclusive artisan gins, including Farrier’s Gin, Quandong Gin, Outback Lemon and Lime Gin, and the captivating Butterfly Pea Flower Gin, which changes from purple to pink once mixed with tonic water.

Adelaide Central Market General Manager Jodie Kannane says that Flinders Gin is the first Producer in Residence to offer spirits in many years.

“We are excited to welcome Flinders Gin to the Market and introduce our customers to a truly unique South Australian artisan gin. The Producer in Residence provides a wonderful opportunity to bring talented regional producers to the city.”

Flinders Gin is passionate about sustainability; the beverage company uses as many by- products from its distilling process as possible, creating a range of botanical teas, lip balm and gin salt. All Flinders Gin products, including a sweet Valentine’s Day gift pack, perfect for any gin lover, are now available at the Producer in Residence stall.

Flinders Gin owner and Master Distiller Alby Trotta is thrilled to share their popular gin with Adelaide Central Market customers.

“Flinders Gin is a little bit fancy and a whole lot of fun and we can’t wait for Adelaide to get a taste of the Flinders Ranges.”

Flinders Gin is based in a recently restored farrier and stable in Quorn, in the state’s mid-north, where the family-run business creates and distils all its products.

The Adelaide Central Market Producer in Residence stall is the perfect base for small South Australian producers, start-up retailers and new eateries to showcase their products and brand to Adelaide shoppers.
