Flip Out has announced it will be bouncing back into SA, with three epic trampoline arenas opening in 2023.
A world of indoor fun for all ages, fans were flipping out when the business closed its popular Munno Para venue in 2022, but they’ll soon be able to dig out their signature non-slip Flip socks again.
The first venue will open its doors in Mount Gambier, with infrastructure already being put in place at the premises on Penola Road.
The Northern suburbs can also jump for joy with a new site due to open in Elizabeth towards the end of 2023.
And no need to flip out if you’re down south, a Southern suburb location announcement is also in the works.
The SA venues are amongst eleven new Flip Out’s announced for Australia, adding to the twelve venues already offering an indoor world of fun.
Far more than just a trampoline arena, first-timers will likely need more than a one-hour session to explore the foam pits, parkour arenas, running walls and more, with options for people of all ages to take a break from the screen and get active.
Co-owner of the Mount Gambier franchise, Stewart Owen, is busy getting the new facility ready for opening, and said he hopes the first bounce is only a matter of weeks away.
“We’re waiting on the mats and some supplies to arrive, and we are super excited to be able to announce a opening date very soon,” he said.
“With the cool, wet climate here in Mount Gambier, people are always looking for an indoor facility where they can have some fun.”
Stewart is also part-owner of Kaboom Family Entertainment in Mount Gambier, which boasts a soon-to-be upgraded bowling alley, mini golf and arcade games.
The new Flip Out franchise will replace another of his indoor play venues, Treehouse Adventure Centre.
The King of indoor fun in the Mount, Stewart said a third entertainment complex was in the pipeline, with the goal to open another fun venue in 2025.
A two-hour workout at Flip Out will cost you $28, with kids under two free.
