Google Cloud and PMY Group are shaking up the sports landscape with their groundbreaking partnership with LIV Golf. Harnessing AI technology and real-time data, they’re redefining fan engagement and operational efficiency in sports.

PMY Group has joined forces with Google Cloud to revamp the sports industry with innovative data and AI initiatives exhibited at LIV Golf events worldwide. This weekend, at the Adelaide LIV Golf event, the partners are showcasing advancements designed not only to impress the industry with their capacity for innovation, but also to underscore a significant partnership that has potential to alter both fan engagement and operational efficiency in sports.

PMY’s speciality lies in data, cloud, and analytics services that make use of innovative tools provided by Google Cloud. One such feature is the “Any Shot, Any Time,” which gives fans an unprecedented level of control over their viewing experiences, allowing them to select live shots from any player at any tournament round. This feature is a prime example of the impressive projects that have emerged as a result of PMY’s partnership with Google Cloud.

PMY Group recently celebrated its impactful partnership with LIV Golf and Google Cloud at a special event in Adelaide. The event aimed not only to celebrate, but also to heighten awareness of PMY’s important role in revolutionising the sports landscape.

The collaboration marks the beginning of multiple fan-focused and real-time data enhancements to be unveiled by LIV Golf, including statistics streaming, course and event mapping, and personalised experiences for fans and broadcast viewers.

LIV’s new “Any Shot, Any Time” feature – operational on LIV Golf Plus – introduces a highly innovative broadcast experience. With this feature, fans can choose exactly which golfers, teams, or groups they want to watch at any time and access customisable, on-demand highlight reels from any round of any LIV tournament.

LIV’s Golf Companion App, set to launch shortly, is another advancement born of the partnership. The app will offer features like 3D aerial overviews of each venue, real-time statistics, virtual caddy views, and bespoke competition recaps. The Golf Companion App will be available for free for consumers and can be downloaded on Apple and Google Play stores.
