There’s a new lunchtime project coming to Gawler Place.

Proving the humble potato isn’t just a side dish, The Potato Project is the latest venture from Loukoumades director, Alex Apostolakos.

The concept is simple – high protein, low carb meals to help you get through the day.

The healthy, loaded meals will contain all your macronutrients and micronutrients to keep you fulfilled, all while championing potatoes.

Not to mention, all of The Potato Project’s packaging is completely biodegradable.

The recipes are all cooked in house, with fresh produce delivered daily.

The Potato Project will even have an impressive ‘feed yourself’ herb bar for you to garnish your meal.

There will also be cold pressed juices made and bottled in house.

The main wall of the restaurant will be completely lined with a living green wall.

Fully self irrigated, and under UV lights, the green wall brings a fresh and vibrant feel to the space.

Alex hopes to have the lunchtime spot open by the end of September.
