Vegetarians, we no longer have to feel left out at barbecues!

Weber Gill Academy is hosting a three-hour course to teach the vegetarians, vegans, and flexitarians of the world how to cook up a killer BBQ––without the meat.

The course will teach participants recipes and practical skills. They’ll make a four-course meal, complete with a grilled dessert, as well as teaching how to grill, smoke and roast over a range of charcoal, gas and electric grills.

At the cooking course, which takes place on April 8, you’ll make flatbread and roasted vegetable dip, grilled cauliflower with labne, miso roasted pumpkin, grilled halloumi salad, and grilled pineapple for dessert. And of course, after you cook the Mezze-style menu, you get to eat it.

“We are cutting the stereotypes and can’t wait to showcase plant-based and vegetarian dishes that we love cooking that are so full of flavour that you’ll no longer think of them as ‘side’ dishes,” Weber says.

The veggie barbecue course is part of “grill academy” courses, which teach participants skills like cooking smokey dishes, making pizza on the barbecue, and cooking with charcoal.

With the vegetarian barbecue lessons, vegetarians will never need to feel left out again.
