New Packaging For Coopers 150th Anniversary

Coopers Brewery is introducing vivid new packaging for its ales to celebrate its 150th anniversary and to give its products greater visual impact in the market.

The new packaging is currently being rolled out around Australia.

Coopers Chairman and Marketing Director, Mr Glenn Cooper, said the packaging would “colour- coordinate” cartons to ale labels.

“For example, Coopers Original Pale Ale, commonly known as Coopers Green because of its green label, will now be sold in predominately green cartons rather than silver cartons.

Mr Cooper said that while the packaging was new, the product definitely had not changed. “Our customers can be assured that our beers remain unaltered,” he said.

“The packaging changes are designed to make Coopers products more easily identifiable in liquor outlets and offer a fresh new look as we gear up for our next 150 years.”

Mr Cooper said the new cartons had been designed by Adelaide firm On-Creative and provided a new clean look that would make it easy for customers looking for their favourite Coopers ale.
