Calling all sweet tooths, Lunar Landing dessert bar has officially… landed!
The highly anticipated venue will open its doors in Brompton today, June 1st, from 12pm to 4pm, and will also be open Sunday, June 2nd, from 12pm to 4pm, until till their delicious sweets are sold out.
“Lunar Landing is something special for the evening; a dessert bar first and foremost. The name comes from ‘Lunar’ as in night-time and ‘Landing’ is just a playful twist – we don’t want to take ourselves too seriously,” Lunar Landing Co-Owner Andre Penascoza says.

The new dessert bar aims to fill the significant gap in Adelaide’s dessert scene by offering a casual and cosy, yet refined dining experience. Guests can enjoy their sweet dishes in a friendly, laid-back setting, or opt for take-away to enjoy their tasty treats at home.
“I guess we want to have a more elevated experience in Adelaide… it’s a very niche market,” Andre Penascoza says.

At Lunar Landing, the menu will fuse traditional English desserts with innovative Southeast Asian flavours.
Diners can look forward to unique combinations like coconut pavlova with strawberries and cream, bread and butter pudding paired with kaya jam ice cream, kumquat tiramisu, hojicha-infused dark chocolate hazelnut tart, and a sticky date soufflé pancake.
The menu will change with the seasons, offering a fresh and different selection for diners throughout the year.

Andre Penascoza and George Wong are the co-owners of another venue in Brompton called Seven Grounds, and together are now also the creative minds behind Lunar Landing. They have teamed up with talented professionals like Mico Yu, who honed her craft in Tokyo.
Lunar Landing will be located in Brompton, right next to Seven Grounds and also Plant 4 Bowden.
“Brompton is growing, and we really want to expand the activations in the area,” Andre says.

During their soft opening week, Lunar Landing will be open daily from 12pm to 6pm, serving retail desserts. After this initial period, the venue will be serving plated desserts until 11pm weekends and 10pm weeknights, making it the ultimate spot for those craving a late-night sweet treat.
With its grand opening today, Lunar Landing is set to become a must-visit destination for dessert lovers in Adelaide. Whether you’re looking for a late-night sweet treat, or an elevated casual dining experience, Lunar Landing promises to deliver. Prepare your taste buds to take off on an unforgettable dessert journey at Lunar Landing!
