Red Square Presents White Square White Party

Since launching in September 2009, the White Square White Party is considered the biggest and most anticipated event on the nightclub’s calendar. The night is a celebration of local, interstate and international talent with the event last year hosting popular UK DJ/Producer Duke Dumont; best known for his hit single Need U (100%).

Headlining this year’s festivities is Melbourne-born, now LA based, Nick Thayer. His club sets are an aural feast as energetic as they are versatile, and was handpicked by Skrillex to join his record label ‘OWLSA’ whilst the label was still in its infancy. To this day Skrillex considers him one of the most versatile DJ/producers he has ever come across.

Nick Thayer is joined by fellow Melbourne DJ/Producer, Chris Bullen, with no mistaking what the Chris Bullen sound is about – purpose built club jams designed to move a dance floor.

They both will be supported by some great home-grown Adelaide talent, including DJ Krunk, who recently remixed the I.Am.Sam and Archie’s progressive house monster ‘Firefly’ which hit #1 on the ARIA Club Chart. After the breakout success of Hey Ho, the hit collaboration with DJ Kronic, American dance music powerhouse Ultra Music have signed the pair to an album deal.

This year, newly appointed Red Square Venue Manager Scott Galletly reveals a new aspect to the infamous White Party.

“Red Square is shaking things up a bit with the introduction of a new tradition for the event: a crowned King and Queen of the party! The King and Queen will be selected via a competition hosted on Red Square social media outlets and will receive the royal treatment in the VIP area for them and ten friends each.

“We wanted to take it to the next level to create an even more exciting and anticipating event; something our patrons will really enjoy and look forward to,” says Scott Galletly.

White Square White Party is set for Friday, 26 September
