“Being in the suburbs we wanted to introduce something for our local neighbourhood that was quick and easy for a Sunday night,” shared East End Events Company General Manager, Olivia Gorman.
Throughout the rest of winter diners can expect house-made focaccia with whipped butter, olives and charcuterie to start, followed by a bowl of rigatoni alla vodka before finishing on a sweet note with Lola’s signature chocolate mousse.
“The menu is designed to be shared amongst the table, we will be changing the menu semi-regularly as we want to keep it fresh and fun for our regular dining guests as well as trying to entice everyone to come back each week,” said Olivia.
Pair it all with one of the venue’s Sunday drink specials and you’ve got a pretty convincing reason to cancel your meal prep plans.
Since opening in Norwood last year, Lola’s has quickly become a favourite neighbourhood hangout, combining the charm of a European-style wine bar with the warmth of a relaxed local bistro.
Inside, velvet curtains, marble finishes and warm pink tones create a stylish backdrop that’s elegant but playful, while vinyl DJs and the occasional disco session make sure the vibes stay high well into the evening.
The kitchen continues to champion fresh, shareable dishes designed to suit everything from a quick drink to a dinner, with a menu showcasing seasonal ingredients and plenty of local produce. My husband and I went last night for an early 5pm dinner with our 2 year old last night, it was great!”
