Mylor Farm is a transformed secluded cottage with beautiful gum forest nestled beside a creek into the ultimate farm getaway.
The cosy stone cottage has three bedrooms tastefully furnished with queen-sized beds and soft freshly laundered linen. There is a fireplace to snuggle up to and read a book. A kitchen with a stocked pantry to cook your own food and a large dining table to enjoy meals with family and friends. Relax and enjoy the view from the delightful lounge whilst listening to a record.
Outside is an abundance of fauna, including kangaroos and koalas. Mylor Farm is a certified Kangaroo sanctuary with four resident roo’s who you’ll get to meet during your stay.
For the avid bird watcher, there are over 40 species of documented birds surrounding the property. Relax and unwind as you walk around and explore the woodlands with their wildflowers. Try hand fishing from the creek, or bring a dish and pan for gold!
If you want to be active, our vegetable garden is seasonal, and you’d be welcome to help out. We also have further gardens around the house and a secret garden near our treehouse.
Other activities include hiking the Heysen Trail, mountain and road biking, and of course enjoying the local produce, especially the famous local wineries.
The property has an established veggie and herb garden, as well as a fruit orchard; plus a secret garden with a tree fort, cut flower beds and a further country garden.
Guest are welcome to pick fruit and take veggies and herbs for your use during their stay.
With over 15 acres all to yourself, this Adelaide Hills retreat is ideally located as a base to explore the region.
