Multiple South Australian Restaurants And Cafes Shine In National Awards

It’s no secret that South Australia is home to incredible cafe and restaurants and some of them are hot winners in this year’s R&CA Awards For Excellence.

Here in South Australia, we all know how great the Adelaide food scene is, but now, thanks to R&CA Awards for Excellence 2019, so does the entire country.

Each year Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) host the Awards For Excellence, a nationally recognised and independently judged awards program that recognises exceptional service and culinary talents across Australia.

It’s not hard to see why this Greek patisserie has won the award for Best Patisserie in Australia 2019. Everything at this little gem on Henley Beach Road is created with four generations of pastry knowledge and experience. Set amongst the trees and hidden away in the village of Uraidla, Lost in the Forest has been one of the Adelaide Hills’ best kept secrets, until now.

WINNER – Soi 38, Adelaide

Located on Pulteney Street right in the middle of the city, Soi 38 serves up Thai food like no other. Named after Bangkok’s famous street food market, Soi 38 opened back in October 2014 and Chef and co-owner Terry Intarakhamhaeng’s seasonal menu uses local produce and showcases dishes from the six regions of his native Thailand.
